Despite Apple's best efforts to make us believe otherwise, yes, iPod to computer transfer is possible. But Apple isn't going to help us on this issue, so it is necessary to use a third-party software program. What you may not know is a lot of software programs (especially free ones) that are supposedly designed to help you do just the opposite. Why? My favorite program for transferring files from my iPod to my PC is the Cucusoft iPod to Computer software program. Though a little slower than Cucusoft, transfer speeds are still quite high. To be honest, I have no complaints with Aniosoft's software. It too performed flawlessly. The only reason it comes in a close second is because Cucusoft's program has a few more features, and it also works with iPhone devices. This isn't a big deal if you don't have an iPhone, but if you do, you should get Cucusoft over Aniosoft.
